Thinking back at times we had
All special in their own way
Times we were happy, times we were sad,
You helped me through each passing day.

Times I fell down you held my hand
And pushed me to the right
You helped me rise and take a stand
You showed me to the light

You brought special gifts to give
You taught me I had to share.
Each word you told me helped me live,
Although I didn’t seem to care.

I may have told you I hated you so
However It wasn’t true
You make me smile and make my heart glow
I don’t know what I do without you.

I remember one time I was quite upset
I thought you’d forgotten your past
Until you gave me a simple bath set
That showed me memories do last.

You had told me you had remembered hours
At grandmas house when we’d play
We’d run around her beautiful flowers,
Throughout the passing day

That treasure I hold, a memory dear
Although it may have been small
I’ll never forget it in every year
It was the greatest present of all.

I’m proud to say to all my friends
You’re my role model and my guide,
From now until the last time ends,
I’ll stand up by your side.

Sometimes I wish I had the chance
To be older than you to choose
But Then I wouldn’t have danced the dance
With younger sister shoes

Then I wouldn’t have had someone
To help pull me along
And push me when something wasn’t done
And point out everything I did wrong.

You showed me a quarter from a dime,
And that five was more then one.
You laughed when I couldn’t tell the time
But looking back it was all in fun.

Each precious moment holds a place
Inside my heart always,
The games of tag and games of chase
The fight over controller days.

So in conclusion you should see,
You’re special like no other,
And I will never take for granted,
You are my older brother.
