 |  Hi! My name is Lilolme and I live in N.C. I'm a southern gal, a Mother of 2 beautiful adult daughters. I have been teaching elementary school for about a decade now. Sometimes I lobby for the Association of Educators, sometimes I don't. I will be going to Teacher Academy with a team from my school this summer. It is for the reading and writing project at Columbia University. This is very exciting! Just the few months I have been working the workshop model have shown great gains in my students' reading and writing abilities. I enjoy travel, hiking, white water rafting, most anything on the water. Last year I was in Germany visiting friends. This year skiing was my newest trial. I can trick ski, yup, I can already go down the bunny slope backwards AND on my bottom. I tried dating recently and found it really isn't my forte. So, I joined the Sierra Club. I am now a tree hugger and loving it. Oh and at 52 years old, I got a tatt. Love to try new things, love to laugh, and love life.
