chapter six

Emily made a face and then continued. "I set up hidden cameras all over your house, I sneak into your bed at night and sleep net to you and then I leave right before you wake up. I watch you put on your glasses in the morning..." she gave him a sly smile.

Justin took a step back from her. "Whoa...wait a second, how do you know I wear glasses?"

Ben, who was only about ten feet away from Justin, raised his brow.

Emily shrugged her shoulders, "I told you I'm an obsessed fan," Emily burst out laughing when she saw the look Justin gave her. "I'm only kidding around, I went to a book storer this morning and I was looking at a magazine and I happened to see a picture and article about you and your music group."

"Oh."

"Justin!" Ben called.

Justin turned his head, "Yeah?"

"Who on earth are you talking to?"

Justin thought for a moment. "I guess I didn't introduce you guys. Ben, this is my friend Emily."

"Justin, do you need your head checked? There's no one there!" Ben exclaimed, wondering what was going on inside Justin's mind.

Justin scrunched up his nose and looked over at Emily, only she wasn't there. "Not again," he groaned. He ran ahead and looked down an alley. There he saw a pony tail bobbing up and down, it was Emily running away. He turned back to Ben. "Here, take this," he handed him his coffee. "And stay right here, don't follow me. I'll be right back," Jsutin took off down the alley way. "Emily!" he shouted.

She turned her head and looked at Justin. When she noticed he was alone, she stopped running and adjusted her tank top.

"Emily!" Justin called and then slowed to a stop. "Why'd you run off like that?" Justin panted.

Emily bit her lip. "I just remembered my mom wanted me home. SOrrry about that," she apologized and pulled a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

"Can I hve your number? Maybe we could go out sometime." Justin licked his lips, a hopeful expression on his face.

Emily shifted uncomfortably and heitated before answering. "Can i have yours instead? My mother is very overprotective of me. The idea of guys calling would probably give her a heart attack," she laughed uneasily.

"Sure, I'll give you my cell phone number too, just in case I'm not home," justin reached into his pocket and pulled out a small piece of paper with his phone number and cell number on it. He handed it to Emily.

Emily quickly took it from his hand, making sure her hand didn't touch his. "Do you usually carry around slips of paper with your number on it?" she raised her brow.

"Only when I'm hoping to run into a beautiful girl," Justin smiled brightly.

Emily blushed and looked down at her feet. "Thank you," she replied quietly. "I really have to go. Bye Justin," she gave him a small smile and took off.

"Call me tonight!" he shouted after her.

"Something's been up with you the past two days," JC reported.

Justin ignored JC and continued to think about Emily as he shoved fries into his mouth.

"Justin! Come back to earth!" Lance snapped his fingers in front of Justin's face.
