chapter one
Everything
started at the start of their spring tour in the city of Leipzig in 1997.
Like
always the show was amazing and we had a lot of fun. After the show my sister
had the idea to follow the tour bus to the hotel in the hope of meeting them. I
liked that idea but unfortunately it wasn’t possible. So we decided to at
least wait for it trying to catch a glance of one of them. We waited for a few
moments till the bus finally appeared. When it got past me I waved cuz I saw
some guys sitting around a table. What happened next was a bit like in one of my
dreams. Means one of the guys waved back at me and while he did this I could see
it was Nick. Then I saw how he said something to the others and after this, they
turned and waved at me too. At this moment I felt something that I never felt
this way before. I still believe that I felt somebody’s eyes looking straight
into mine. I wished for this moment never to end but after a few seconds
everything was over and I stood there still having this feeling inside me.
After
this my sister and me went back home where my parents were already waiting for
us to come. They always stay up when I went out for a date also they told me
they trust me. And this sometimes makes me think if they really do.
In
my thoughts I still was in the place where the whole thing with the bus had
happened and I couldn’t wait anymore to hear what my mom would say about it,
so I decided to tell her all.
But
when I told her about it, she just smiled at me like she wouldn’t believe me a
single word I said. I never thought she would react like that, but it got even
worse when I told her that I want to go to the hotel early in the morning. She
told me that I shouldn’t over react and that she won’t let me go there.
Because I didn’t understand it we got in a fight, which ended with the result
that she sent me to my room and told me to stay there until I got my feet back
onto the ground. Of course I wasn’t satisfied with that so I went into my room
and waited there till everybody was sleeping, before I skipped out of the
apartment.
When
I was free I made my way to the Mayrriot hotel where they were supposed to stay
for the night. When I reached it there were already a few fans waiting outside
behind a barricade. I thought for a, than went over to them, starting a
conversation. Like always we got along pretty well talking about our sweeties
and having fun. But everything changed with the time passing by. Cuz more and
more fans came and they went mad if there was any kind of movement inside the
hotel. With the time it really started to annoy me cuz they always tried to get
closer to the barricade, which gave me a hard time to move free. After a few
hours I started to ask myself why I was doing all this without knowing if they
will show up. I even started thinking about leaving and going home, when Nick
appeared and most of the girls around me went totally crazy. They started
yelling, screaming and even crying. Like always Nick was wearing a cool looking
outfit and a base cap. He also had a basketball under his arm and this was the
reason, why he didn’t give many autographs. He just wanted to play a few games
like an ordinary teenager, what I totally understood. But there were a few girls
around me, who couldn’t and they started yelling strange things at him. All I
could think of was “Who do they think they are?“ Than I got a shock cuz one
of them yelled into my ear and pushed me against the barricade. I guess this
shock was written across my face cuz I could see a look of sympathy on Nick’s
face. He also started walking toward me but his bodyguard stopped him, telling
him it wasn’t save. So he made his way over to the court and started playing.
When he was gone I was glad at the one hand but sad on the other. The reason why I was happy was cuz I could at least move a bit, since he was gone and the screaming had stopped, and sad because I hadn’t had a chance to talk to him or to get his autogramm. Still I was glad that everybody had calm down again. But unfortunately it didn’t last long because a few moments after Nick, Brian showed up and everybody went crazy again. When Nick showed up a few moments ago I could take it. But when Brian came out, it was too much for me, and everything went black.
