chapter twelve
"I heard this movie was really freaky," Chris said as they got in
line to buy their tickets
"Oh, are you scared?" Jc asked him.
"NO I was just telling you what I heard," He defended.
"Sure," Amanda joked.
"Two for House on Haunted Hill," Joey told the lady at the ticket
counter.
"Here you are sir, Next please." She yelled. They all got their
tickets and food and went into the dark theatre.
"That was my foot," Chris whispered.'
"Sorry I cant see a thing."Justin said back.
"Shh," the rest of them told him.
"OK, ok"
"Here lets sit here," Lance said and pointed to a row in the
middle.Joey sat down next to Jessica and Amanda sat on the other side of
her.Justin was next to her and then there was Jc,Chris, and lance.
"Hey Mandy," Justin said nudgging her in the arm.
"what?"
"Check out attitude girl," He snickered.She looked over at Jessica who
had her legs crossed and her hand out as if just waiting for Joey to grab it.
She had her purse tigthly gripped in her other hand and kept batting her eyes.
"Justin, be nice," She demanded holding back a smile.
"What? Look at her she acts like she is Cinderella or like someone is going
to mug her or something." He said.When he said that Amanda started to crack
up in a loud fit of laughter. Everyone looked at her like she was a complete
idiot.
"What is so funny?" Joey asked.
"Nothing,Nothing at all it was my scineses.yeah I had a sneezing fit."
She lied and glanced at justin who was laughing as hard as she just had been.

"That was a great movie," Joey said.
"Yeah, but I was having a hard time hearing some of it," Jessica said
and glared at Justin and Amanda.
"Oh, really why?" Joey asked her.
"What do you say we get going to the mall, I am really in the mood to shop,"
Justin said trying to change the subject.
"Ok, lets go." Lance suggested.

"Ok, we'll meet you at the food court in an hour." Amanda made sure
and then when they agreed her Justin and Jc left and headed to
Dilliards."Uh, I wanna look at something real quick so you can hang out
with me for a sec or go to the mens department." Amanda told them.
'I think I will go to the mens, you know more of what I like to wear,'" Jc
said and walked off.Justin followed him then turned around.
"I will be back in just a minute. I just want to see if they have one
thing.OK?" Justin asked.
"Ok, I will be right over here." Amanda smiled and rummaged through
the clothes rack. She held up a pale yellow spaghetti strap to her and looked in
the mirror.
"Not to bad," She quietly mumbled. She glanced at the price tag and
almost laughed.That much for a shirt. What you think it was made of gold. She
thought to herself and automatically put back the shirt.
"I thought it looked nice. Yellow is definatley your color." Justin
said and walked up behind her.
"Oh hey I didnt think anyone was watching,"
"I just got here.I saw you put back the shirt,why?"
"Oh my God its unreal! You know that designer is really proud of their
clothes. I like it and all but I am not williing ot spend that much," She
explained and looked back at the shirt.
"Ok, whatever you say."
"Oh hey there you are. I was looking for you." Jc spotted them and ran
across the store."OK,wheres Justin?"
"He was just behind me where did he go this time?" Amanda asked and
looked around.
"Looking for me?" Justin said and came up from the side.
"Oh there you are where did you go?"amanda asked him.
"Oh, um I had to go to the bathroom," He answered.
"Isnt the bathroom that way?"She pointed to the back.
"Yeah, I got lost,"
"Ok,"She said and gave him a puzzling look.

"Where are they? We said we would meet up in an hour. I thought WE were
late where are they?" Joey asked annd impatiently looked around.
"I dont know they are always late," Chris answered.As he said that
they all three came walking up laughing about something.
