Dedicated To My Mother Bette Ann Williams

Some Words To My Mother

I Miss You Mother
A Poem I Wrote For Her

My mother, Bette Ann Williams was born on April 19, 1938, and left us on January 30, 1998.
She was a kind and loving woman. She loved to laugh, and make other people laugh, too. She even made you laugh when it wasn't that funny at all! She had her own way of making people smile.
Her sweet spirit would help anyone if they needed it, and she always had time for others.
She loved to play bingo, do crossword puzzles, and travel. One of her other favorite past times was to listen to me singing. She also loved Unicorns.
She loved to cook, and when she did, she cooked for an army!! She was a great cook, and everyone loved it!
She was very loving, honest and truthful. She always showed me unconditional love, and made me feel loved beyond what a Mother's call of Duty requires.....

Mom its been 3 years, since you have flown,
to a place where you now call, home away from home!!
Sometimes I stop to think how unfair it seems to me
that you could just go, and leave me with these memories!!

I understand times do change and seasons come again
I just wish my time with you, never had to end!
Each Day I go on and with every minute that goes go by
There isn't one moment that I dont ask God why?

I could contemplate everything and make up excuses too
but I know your so happy and doing what you need to do!
Your using your sweet spirit and also watching me,
guiding me everyday to the person I am growing to be!!

It seems life goes by with "I Wish I's" and "I should of's"
but if one thing I remember most,is your neverending love.
So I am gonna say Farewell not goodbye to you
because goodbyes are forever and Farewells are, "I'll see you soon"

I Love You Mom...Kathy
