Tiny Miss 2-3 Yrs.
Petite Miss 4-6 Yrs.
Junior Miss 7-9 Yrs.
Young Miss 10-12 Yrs.
Teen Miss 13-15 Yrs.
Elegant Miss 16-19 Yrs.
They compete the age they are on September 1st of the current pageant year i.e. Sept 1, 2009, for this pageant year.
MODELING: Consists of a short interview, modeling sportswear/casualwear and party dress. (Modeling time limit – 90 seconds.) These 3 scores are added together for the modeling total. Sportswear/Casualwear fashion may be dressy or casual. Tiny & Petite will compete in short dresses. Junior & Young may compete in short or long. Teen & Elegant will compete in long dresses. Free-style modeling may be used in all modeling events.
TALENT: Talent must be under 3 minutes, 10 seconds. You will turn in your tape at registration. Make sure your talent number is the only one on the CD or the first one on the CD.
GLAMOUR: Facial beauty judging will be done prior to interview.
PHOTOGENIC: Pictures should be no larger than 8x10. You may submit black/white or color AT REGISTRATION. There will be a trophy winner in each age division.
PORTFOLIO: may contain up to 15 pictures and will be submitted AT REGISTRATION. A Trophy will be given in each age division.
OVERALL OUR DIAMOND MISS: The contestant with the highest combined scores of Modeling, Talent, & Glamour. She will receive crown, banner, & trophy and her state entry fees paid in all 3 events to state competition where she will be awarded a diamond necklace. If there are 20 contestants in Tiny Miss through Elegant Miss $$100$$ CASH will be awarded to the Supreme Diamond Miss.
DIVISIONAL SUPREME WINNERS: The contestant in each of the 6 age divisions with the highest combined score for Modeling, Talent, & Glamour. They will receive crown, banner, & trophy and their entry fees paid in all 3 events to state competition.
MODELING, TALENT, & GLAMOUR WINNERS: There will be a winner in each age division for each of the 3 categories plus runners-up given for modeling & talent in each age division. The winners will receive crown & trophy and their respective entry fees paid to state competition. Because of the new, more affordable fees, girls winning more than one event will be given all crowns for those events.
FEES: Due with entry form. Cashier's checks or money orders are accepted (Payable to: Orene Harris). Entry form is due in the regional office 10 days prior to the pageant. Entries will not be accepted at the registration. REGISTRATION is for turning in talent music, photogenic, and portfolio entries.
EVERY CONTESTANT WILL RECEIVE A TROPHY AWARD!!
- WORLD OF BABIES -
Baby Age Divisions are 0-6 mos; 7-12 mos; 13-18 mos; 19-24 mos; 25-35 mos. They compete the age of the pageant date, BUT, can be no older than 35 months by the cut-off date in June. (Babies 25-35 mos. can opt for Tiny Division). Babies will compete in party-wear or Sunday-wear. Beautiful Baby is facial beauty judging. Optional Sportswear event winner will receive a trophy award. There are 5 age divisions, however, if less than 6 in a division, divisions will be combined accordingly. Babies 0-12 months MUST be carried on stage by a responsible adult.
BABY WINNERS: The Supreme Baby is the baby with the highest combined scores of World of Babies & Beautiful Baby. They will receive crown, banner, & trophy and their entry fee paid for the state World of Babies Competition. If 25 babies $$100$$ CASH will be awarded to the Supreme Baby. There will then be a Divisional Supreme Baby crowned in each division receiving crown, banner, & trophy and entry fee paid to state for World of Babies. Due to the economical fees we provide, winners are eligible to receive all crowns they win and one queen trophy.
