This is Our Animal Memorial Page.
These are animals that have gone to pet heaven.

Lady was quite old when she passed. She died of cancer in the 70s

This is Me and Gypsy in late 70s. I was 18 here....gee wiz.
Gypsy also was quite old when she passed.
She had to be put to sleep as she could no longer
get up on her own.

This is Sparkey. Our first dog after I was married
the first time (smiles). He was 3 months old
when he passed. It was accidental in a parking lot
at the fair. We forgot to roll down a window and
he died of heat exhaustion. A day
we won't ever forget as while little Sparkey was
on his last breaths we all became quite ill.
When we returned to the car kids were playing
with him and he got overheated. I cried for weeks.

This is Bear. We got him shortly after Sparkey passed.
She lived to be quite old and also died
of cancer and had to be put to sleep. I put a message
on the radio station needing a dog as I was greiving
over Sparkey so much and someone didn't want her
anymore so we took her.

This is DeeDee. A full blooded Maltese. She belonged
to my mother when she came to live with us.
When Mom went into the high rise to live and
couldn't have pets, we took care of her until she too had
to be put to sleep as she lost a lot of her teeth
and wouldn't eat. During this time we also took
in Chico, a Chihuahua, that belonged
to my grandmother. She had to go into a nursing home
and couldn't take her so I had her until
again she grew quite old and lost her teeth
and was put to sleep. We don't have a picture as yet
of Chico.

This is Barney. Full blooded registered bassett. I bought him for
my then husband, but Barney wasn't housebroken
as he was advertised as. We put him outside but the neighbors
complained so we found a friend who wanted
him to go hunting, but was too full of energy so again
as we last knew he was heading for Niagra Falls
to be used for breeding. Barney as far as we know is still alive.

There was yet one more dog we had. The owners couldn't
keep him. His name was Buddy, a full blooded registered blonde
Cocker Spaniel. We took him and once again was not housebroken
as he was advertised so lived in a shed in the backyard.
A few years ago, Buddy passed away of pneumonia
following a terrible ice storm we had. As yet I don't have
pictures of our Buddy.
