Buddy Icons

    Welcome to the new Jeter Buddy Icons page!! If you have AOL Instant Messenger and you would like to make Derek Jeter your buddy icon, here are some options for you! I'm going to start off with four icons to choose from for now, but if you have a specific picture in mind that you would like to make an icon, please e-mail me and I will do my best to make one for you. (Please keep in mind that the icon is very small, so make sure it is a picture that is focused on Jeter!)

To save a buddy icon to your computer: Right-click on the image that you would like. Click on the option "Save Picture As..." and choose where you want to save the picture on your computer.

To make Derek Jeter your buddy icon: Once you are signed onto AOL Instant Messenger, click on the "My AIM" tab on the top-left corner. Go down to "Edit Options", and hold the cursor there until more options pop-up on the left. Click "Edit Preferences..." and there will be a menu of options on the left. Click the "Buddy Icons" option, and where it says "Your Icon to send to buddies:", click the "Browse PC..." button. Find the picture and voila! You have a new buddy icon!
