You can get squirrels to sometimes jump where you want
You have to get excited enough We can show it on are face
We don't walking alone only with friends
For better or worse they must be up or excited to jump
I lay down in the park between the Canadian Embassy and The U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Washington D.C.
I feed most of the squirrels except Long Tail except for Long Tail. She will except only one piece of food a day. She just wants me to chase her or watch her do jumps. I chatter happy to her. Two Sundays ago I went and to grab the bag of peanuts She was ready to do some jumps from tree to tree. She took off and found a big accorn like seed pod and took off. SHE LATER CAME BACK AND JUMPED FROM HER FAVORITE TREE TO JUMP. Last week she ran by early with two seed pods attached to a little branch.
Trading Happys.
I feed at one other places regularly too.
Their range is such (up to about 4 block on rare occassions) that you can be known by more than you really try to interact with.

I was trying a experiment pointing to see if I can tell a squirrel where to jump. It envolves first guessing where he might and pointing at it, then enjoying his jump. Go trick. Chatter Chatter! After point at a ledge and the squirrel jumping I noticed and injury. We do not have eye contact. I am looking at the injury. Watch a squirrels play watch the amount of faking. Jessuss Ohhhh It was a large bite mark accross the back of the shoulder. I reached around to my back and continued Ohhhh Ouchhhhh. (I wish I would have stopped at eye contact and sound of duress.)
They like to show what they can do. What started was a series of jumps and tail flicks. Ohh (excitely)
When the squirrel stopped the jumps and flicks. She grabbed a piece of cloth in here mouth and started shaking it. About 6 seconds feet up on the cloth. Ohh (excitely) Front feet up above chest is what was curious about before this. That is the position there. That is an agressive act. I believe that is important to rememeber.
I the race to be human, today the squirrels have won.
