hey you guys sorry for not updating this page in like forever but hopefully ill start doing it more regularly from now on.

• Third game of the season, third win of the season. with mussina's win on 4/2 the yankees have won 3 in a row and have built up an impressive amount of runs. they have scored at least 6 runs a game.
• thursday as some of you may know is an off day but it is also a huge day for the Yanks. thursday is the day of Derek Jeter's MRI (see below) to see if he need surgery. WISH HIM LUCK!!!!
• as you guys might know Derek Jeter is injured and out for a month (best case senerio. Sniff. It's all very sad (I was flipping when i heard what happened) If you don't know what happened here it is in a nutshell
  Giambi was up at the plate and the Blue Jay infield was shifted to the right side for Giambi . Giambi hit a ground ball and Jeter (on 2nd) realized that there was no one by 3rd so he ran. The catcher of the Blue Jays saw this too and ran to catch the ball that was being thrown to 3rd in order to tag out Jeter . Jete was sliding in to 3rd head first and the catcher's shin guard rammed into Jeter's head and shoulder. Jeter lay on the field face down writhing in pain for about 10 minutes. A stretcher was called for but eventually Jeter was able to get up and was helped to an equipment cart and was taken off the field. It was later released that he dislocated his left shoulder and is having an MRI thursday to reveal the extent of his injury
• now for the good news, the yanks won both opening day and tuesday's game.
• Both Pettitte and Clemens pitched great games
• Rick (i think thats his name) Almonte is being recalled to replace Jeter in the lineup. in the meantime Enrique Wilson is playing short and doing a damn good job too.
• Mariano and Karsay are out (i think)
