66-93

I was born in Kansas City, Missouri in 1959,
and shortly after, my parents moved to Eugene, Oregon where I spent most of my life.

I began playing APBA football in 1970 and APBA baseball in 1972.
My first experience with mail/FTF came in 1981 as a member of an 8-team league in Eugene.
I played mail leagues off and on till 1992 when I joined several computer leagues
and have been an avid member of ten leagues ever since.

My first serious job came in 1983 when I moved to Seattle, Washington
and spent 14 years working for the Sisters of Providence health system,
working on copiers, printers and computers.
I married my current wife Lois in 1987 and have one son that was born in 1992.
In 1997, we moved back to Eugene and I began work for Symantec, Inc
working in the IT department. My current position is Manager of the Americas IT HelpDesk,
leading a team of 8 people supporting 2,000+ Symantec employees in North and South America.

My “claim to fame” came in 1977
when I spent my junior and senior year playing second base for the North Eugene High School varsity team,
with Danny Ainge at short and Steve Lyons in centerfield.

That’s my life in a nutshell.
