Sam Dewitt led the league in strikeouts last season with an impressive 35, but allowed 226 runs.  Dewitt faced transportation problems toward the end of last season causing him to fall back in the homerun race.  Also, Dewitt made it to the W. W. S. (Whiffleball World Series) last year and became a member of the Long Balls.  They were soon defeated by the Hit Men.
