Our Restoration Projects

Well what can I say the Puma is our latest of 5 sleds that we have tinkered with. She's a beast. This bad boy aught to top out at around 75 when we dial her in to ride. As you can see the suspension has been done by my friend Jeff. Thanks Jeff she looks like new. We are also currently redoing the ski's. We are also working on the bellypan. The alumminum is coated in junk and so on. Soon enough. Yeah thats right the Puma will be ready for some riding this winter. Me and Jeff can't wait to take her on one of are rides around town.

1973 Puma 440

This is my 73'puma 440. I bought it for 50 bucks and it was pretty rough. It looked like it blew oil for quite some time and everything had tons of oil on it. Me and Jeff cleaned that up with about 10 hrs of labor but now she's as clean as a whistle.

The Puma's Suspension

One like new suspension. This iron tank needed a some slides, a few new bolts, a new hydraulic shock, and some new idler wheels to top it all off. Jeff drop about 20 hrs on this. After he cleaned it all up he painted it all and reassembled it. Nice job man.

440 Kawasaki Fan

Let me tell you this engine needs some help. The fan side head is stripped out and it doesnt spark. But I think we'll just heli-coil the head. The previous owners put a coil from a ski-doo on it and there is a difference in plug wires. I took it to the local dealer to get a estimate and he said about 150 bucks. Thats not a bad price at all, but thats just what he thinks is wrong with it. When he strips it down we'll get a call to see if there's anything seriously wrong with it. But when she's done she'll Purrrrrrrrrr once again! Click here for More Projects Click here for the finished product!
