Kudzu here-- King of the Crankbait. These other guys have it all wrong. See if you want to catch a fish, the bait that you use had to be smaller than the fish, duh haha. Well it just seems smarter to me to use smaller bait for fish. Red Shad and Tequila use these huge things bigger than my hand. My logic isn't completely worked out yet, but atleast I catch something unlike the other guys. For some reason I catch smaller fish more often such as brim. The bait is very versatile, working in open water and in shallow spaces. With two treble hooks, it doesn't get caught up as much as you would think. The one I use most often is black, silver, and white. Usually I catch them right after the cast. That little sucker is a solid bait to catch a fair sized fish. Especially if you've been out all day with the guys and want to be the first one to catch something. ha. Thats my take on things.
