II.Payouts
(i)The league is head-to-head, with a consolation prize for most points. The top two records will compete in a Superbowl the 16th week of the regular NFL season. (ii)Tie breaker for records is points. (iii)The Superbowl winner wins 70% of prize pool after consolation deduction of the entry fee. Second place wins 30%. Ex: $700 prize pool- Head-to-head winner gets $455, runner up gets $195, points winner gets back $50 entry fee. (iv)Points will accrue through week 16 of the regular NFL season for ALL TEAMS. (v)Entry fee is $60 per manager, with $10 going toward PLUS League fees.
III.Keeper Rules
(A) (i)Each team in the league will be required to keep 2 players from their final roster of the previous year. Final rosters will be rosters on the Saturday of NFL's Week 16. (ii)The random order selected for the following year's draft determines the order to state your keepers. Players to be kept will be stated by this order (both at once) by respective owners. (iii)No players can be retained from the previous draft's first two rounds. Only players drafted in rounds 3 through 15 AND anyone who went undrafted are eligible as "keeper" players.
(B)(i)The Two Round Rule
Keepers will count as your draft pick two rounds earlier than they were selected the previous year. A 3rd round pick 2004, if kept, will be a 1st round pick for 2005. A 15th round pick will become a 13th round pick, and so on. (ii)A free agent that went undrafted will be treated as a 15th round pick, using a round 13 slot the following year. This does not include free agents that came off of waivers. (iib)In the event someone wishes to keep a 15th round pick AND a previously undrafted free agent, or 2 picked up, previously undrafted free agents, they will forfeit their 12th and 13th round picks in the draft. That coach will decide who goes in which slot.(iic)In the event you keep 2 players of the same rank, e.g., 2 number sevens, you will forfeit that round - 2 and - 3. In the example, 2 number seven slots kept would forfeit #5 slot and #4slot. 2 #3's MAY NOT BE KEPT.(iii)Any player traded, picked up off waivers, OR picked up as a free agent because he came off waivers (he was originally drafted) will retain their draft position as originally picked. Ex: Eli Manning is picked in the 7th round by Joe. Joe drops Eli, Mike picks him up. Should Eli be on Mike's end of the year roster, he can choose to keep him as a 5th round pick. (iv)Two players from the same position can be kept.
IV.Draft
(i)Draft order will be determined by random drawing.
(ii)We will disclose draft order one week ahead of selected draft date.
(iii)We will follow a serpentine draft. However, the first to disclose "keeper" players is one and the same as who gets first pick in the draft. All keeper players will be announced before any players are picked from free agency pool. (No. 1 thru No. 14 disclose keepers, No.1 picks from remaining pool, then picks next in the 28th slot.)
(iv)Anyone entering the draft as a new member due to a dropout must use the dropout coach's final roster for his keeper players.
