Leo Lyons was my great-grandfather. I remember being at his home when I was 6 and 7 years old. I am currently working on getting some much deserved name recognition for him. Not many know Leo Lyons and his involvement in the NFL.Most people today in Rochester are unaware their city had an original NFL team. Or the co-founder of the NFL was a Rochester resident.I have done a newspaper ,television,and radio interview recently and look forward to many new projects. I am working on a book.The Buffalo Bills will have a display on Leo and the Jeffersons opening day against the Saints at the Bills Experience. Plans also include a display in a museum being built inside the stadium for next year. Denny Lynch of the Bills would like a site for Western New York football history. I am looking for any family members who had a relative who played on the Rochester Jeffersons or anyone who knew Leo Lyons.
