Registration Information

Notification of registration will be sent out to all elementary students through the schools. Notices will be put in the paper and ads placed on the radio. Posters will be placed in as many locations as possible. A cutoff date will be established four weeks prior to the start of the season after which time there will be a $5.00 late fee to register. This covers the cost of shipping the uniform after the initial order has been placed.

Spring Registration Date:

Registration fee are $20.00 for each child. The fee covers 10 games for fall and spring and includes the uniform (shirt/short/socks). Registration is open to all children from the ages of 4 1/2 to under 16 year old as of August 1, 1997.   For more registration information, please call Deb Tvrdy @ 784-2501 to get started.

Spring Registration

Registration made in the fall covers both fall and spring seasons, so you do not need to reregister in the spring.  New players are accepted throughout the fall and spring.  New players registering before the spring season will be placed on existing teams if there is room, or new teams will be formed if there are enough players.

Team Assignments

All players registering by August 19, 2003 will be assigned to a team. Team formation and balancing will be based on the registrations received as of this date. Registrations received after August 19th are not guaranteed a team assignment. If space is available, registrations will be added to an existing team. The logistics of starting a new season requires time for a few volunteers to recruit coaches, balance team rosters, prepare fields and develop schedules.

Volunteers

Volunteers will be needed  to help with the registration process. If you are interested in helping, please call any board members and leave your name and number.

Coaches

Any one planning to coach next year will need to fill out a blue volunteer form and sign it. If you are already a coach or a registered volunteer a preprinted form is available for you to sign.

Registration Form

A few things to keep in mind when registering a child for next season:

1 -Insurance

Check the insurance information and make sure the current doctor's name and phone number is listed. Have you changed your insurance carrier?

2 - Player Requests

You may request to play with another player. Write this request on the line 'brother or sister on same team'. Player requests greatly increase the complexity of team balancing - as this is done manually and not by the computer. These guidelines will allow your player request to be considered at the time of team balancing:

2.1 No request is guaranteed. A balanced team is one of our philosophies.

2.2 The player request is on a proper registration form and proper fees are paid by August 19th.

2.3 Only one request will be considered. No second or alternatives are permitted. A brother or a sister is a request. You may request a brother or a friend, but not both.

2.4 Players must be the same age group.

2.5 Players must cross-reference each other on their registration form, e.g.: Tom requests Joe, Joe requests Tom.

2.6 You may not request a coach. All coaches and assistant coaches automatically have their child assigned to their team.

2.7 No three way requests will be honored.  If Moe requests Curly, and Curly requests Larry, and Larry requests Moe - the requests will not be honored.
