Jim McCullin's (Bracketman) 1969 442. I bought this car when I was 15 years old from my brother. It has undergone many changes until I took it off the street in 1993. I would drive out to Texas Motorplex, bolt on slicks and uncork the exhaust and run 11.80's then drive back home. After the second time I had to call Randy (Thirdworld) to bring his trailer to come get me I decided to take the car off the street. Best ET to date 11.033 @ 119.07mph in the 1/4 mile, best 1/8 mile time 6.947 @ 97.20mph, and best 60' time of 1.457. Bob and Joe Brannan's 68 H/O. It's powered by a .030 over 455, ported Edlebrock heads with oversize valves, HEI, 4:33 gear, and 2800 stall B&M converter. Engine was first built in mid 2003 with a Mondello Crane JM 4-5 and '66 W-30 Tri-Carb with the famous chrome shroud. It ran a best of 12.25 @ 112mph. Not bad, and it did win Best Muscle Car at Springer,OK Drag and Show BUT, we knew the thing had more potential, and just needed to figure out why it wouldn't pull in 2nd and 3rd. As it turned out, we had a lobe wiped off and have started over... with a little more power in mind to try and out run baby sister Susie (she drives) and brother-in-law (aka Kingo on ORO chat boards) with their strong running red '70 cutlass 403. So now we are rebuilding the 455 with Crane solid roller cam and Holley HP 830. We hope to get it dialed in and try the Tri-Power again to determine which gives best performance. Our objectives are to make a strong running "nostalgia" runner, (nearly) stock appearing, bring back the "Good Old Days", and hopefully give Susie and Kingo a run for their money.

King & Susie's 1970 Cutlass. The license tag says it all "made for Susie" The car was built for my wife to race. It's powered by a 403 with ported #6 heads. This car is the second half of the "Brannan Racing team" and we love it when we get paired against my wifes dad (68H/O) for nostalgic reasons.
