HOW THE POLL WAS CONDUCTED

This poll was conducted by soliciting fans from the Virginia Preps message board. Each pollster submitted their top ten teams in order, and each team was assigned points on a sliding scale (10 points for first place vote, 9 points for the second place, etc.). When the poll was completed, the top team from each district recieved an additional three points as a reward for a predicted district championship. Please note that this measure will only occur during preseason polls.

Look for notices in your e-mail and on the message board for information on the next poll.
