Ok mates. We had our first friendly against the not so friendly United World College boys borders on the 2nd of September. The fast paced game caught our team unawares and quickly we gave up the first of many goals. Rough play and quick footwork from the boys were the greatest contributing factors to their success, which was greatly anticipated from both teams. Who says that there is no equality between the genders? Trust me people, the boys played as hard and as rough as they would have against any other guys team.
More often than not, our defense was made to run around in circles, pitifully trying to shield our keeper from the constant onslaught of shots made from all over the penalty box.
2 amazing shots from Meganne shed little consolation over our crushing defeat, but ensured that our next game against SAS will not go down quite so harshly.
