Features:(13 x 7) Fully insulated and carpeted. Rafter framing-oak on 24" centers, sidewall framing-rough cut pine ($1-board at local mill) 16" centers, sleeper loft with skylights (2), RV items installed; sink(adding 12v water pump yet), 2-burner top stove with chrome cover, heater (propane not sure of btu's, woodstove-not installed, propane may be sufficient, 4" fiberglass batts in wall, foam sheets in ceiling, 12v flourescent light (installed), other 12 v applications to be added-currently using one 12 volt high amp Wal-mart acquired battery, has held up great since July-03. One sliding window 8" x 8" and one vertical crank out from trailer, to narrow to squeeze in...large doors with treated steel hasp, with garage door seal installed between them.
Inside I house traps, axe and other bug out items, sometimes the generator....hence the title Trapper Cabin.
State land and great hunting 4 miles away.
Cabin capable of housing either a full-size snowmobile or a 4-wheeler, trees cut for 16' addition on south side (see pic), that will make this a 13 x 23 and I will then be able to store wood for the house project :)
Future plans: water system, rainwater to filter to 12v pump...RV style, additional 12v lighting (again RV style). Hook up woodstove (piping), has propane heater from a pop-up already with a sink and two-burner stove. With insulation, propane may be adequate... Adding a 16 x 7 section on south side.
