This was an indoor pre-season tournament held in O'Fallon, IL. There were 12 teams that were mostly 18 year olds. We finished 1st in our pool with 3 wins. KC Lasers went on to win the next 2 single elimination games that placed us against the KC Invasion. We managed to score the only run of the 7 inning game in the 2nd inning and took 1st place! We scored 30 runs and only gave up 1 unearned run all weekend. The team was at full strength with all of our normal players, less one. This was a great weekend for our girls and they were able to go home with a feeling of accomplishment. (Check out our Happy Team!)
