This photo shows the big flood in the early 90's. I have put another photo of the Aniversay pool with a large pool in Deep Creek in the background on Wizard page 6 for comparison. In this shot first notice the pine tree at the lower left. It had recently been planted and was much smaller. At the far right behind the branches of the tree you can barely see in the rapids the top of the large granite island seen in my other shot. Also at the left bottom of the picture is where the Aniversary pool would be except that it would be under the flood and was also not built at the time of this pic. Above where the Aniversary pool would be you can the channel that flows down into the womb and area where the other pools sit. This channel is just left of the peice of granite sticking up out of the flood. You see that the beach area across the creek from the hotpools is under the flood along with everything else on that side of the creek. Anyone for a swim :-)
