Edward Ash, Ed began cheerleading for basketball as a Freshman.  Ed is the first coed to complete four years of cheerleading for Guilderland High School.  Last summer Ed was awarded "All American" by National Cheerleading Association.  Ed was also given the camp award at N.C.A. cheerleading camp last summer (meaning he was asked to be a instructor on N.C.A. staff) which is a great honor.  Ed has set many goals for himself each year reaching each with determination and spirit.  Ed has recently received a letter from N.C.A. saying that he is a member of  N.C.A. staff.  Also Ed has been accepted to Northeastern University where he will continue his Cheerleading career on the N.U. Husky cheerleading team which he recently made.
Heather Barcomb, Heather has been such a strong leader for the basketball cheerleading program.  Heather moved onto the Varsity Basketball Cheerleading for the 1999-2000 season.  She has continued her leadership role as one of the chosen captains for the 2000-2001 Basketball Cheerleading team.  Heather has volunteered countless hours to the Guilderland Pop Warner Cheerleaders.  Heather is a great role model for future cheerleaders at Guilderland.  This fall Heather will join the Great Dane Cheerleaders at the University at Albany.
Emily Cain, Emily is one of our main flyers on the Guilderland Varsity Cheerleading team. This will be Emily's second season on the Varsity team. Her experience has helped the team create new exciting stunts for the seasons. Emily hopes to attend Colgate University and possibly be a part of their Cheerleading squad.
Monaa Callender, Monaa brings the Varsity team eight years cheerleading experience.  A two year "N.C.A. All American" cheerleader.  Monaa has also given many hours of her cheerleading knowledge to the Pop Warner Cheerleading program.  Monaa has already been accepted to the University of Hartford and Siena College.  She plans to major in marketing and will probably be cheering wherever she attends college.
Alec Kenny, This has been Alec's first year on the Guilderland Varsity Cheerleading team.  Alec's college choices are SUNY Canton, Dean and he will hopefully major in business Administration.  Hopefully this season has encouraged Alec to look into cheerleading on a college level.
Jenny Majkut, Jenny has been cheerleading her way from Pop Warner to Varsity.  This is Jen's first year on Varsity and she has been a great addition to the team.  Jenny's college plans are Marist College, a first choice but she is also looking at Hartwick and Sienna.  Jen will major in Psychology.
Chrissy Penman, Chrissy has cheered her way onto the Guilderland Varsity team this year.  Chrissy has been cheerleading for eight years.  Chrissy's college plans include an education at Quinnipac University and a career as a physicians assistant.
Cecilia Ramos, Cecilia has been cheering since she was nine years old.  Cecilia joined the varsity team for football last season and was on the Guilderland Indoor Track team during the winter season.  This year she will cheer with the Varsity team for her first Basketball cheerleading season.  Cecilia is looking forward to a future in medicine.  Cheerleading in college will be on Cecilia's agenda.
