After coming from a great win in
the round before this we were keen to continue the good form into Round 3.
That's exactly what we did too! We owned the court for all of one hour of the
match as we walked away with four skins and a thumping score line of 120-35.
The big surprise of the night was a six from Dave. It was the result
of a dropped catch but counted nonetheless. Plus he went on to bowl like a
demon in the fielding as well. It
was an all round performance with everyone putting in a great effort in both
fielding and batting. One of those games where you enjoy being in the team!
There was never a moment when we believed that we were in trouble and it was
a dominant display of fielding all round. We all got wickets and kept their
worm as limp as you would want it to be for the entire match. Last
of all a big thanks to the Grumpy Old Men for lending Pete
(Grumpy) to us for the ring in. He put a good display on in the batting
department (18) and fielded pretty well for us as well. |

Memorable Moment

| "Dave actually hitting a six! Despite
the fact that it resulted from a dropped catch and an easy bowl it was
still a site to behold. Actually Dave was on fire the whole friggin'
night!" - Brian |
