At the BASKA 2001 annual end of year dinner, Shihan Greg Wallace was promoted to 8th Dan Greg Wallace 8th Dan Chief Instructor of British All Styles Karate Association and founder of Renshinkai Karate. Greg has been training in the Martial Arts for 30 years in styles including Kyokushinkai, Sankukai, Shotokan, Wadoryu, and Aki Jutsu before becoming the founder of Renshinkai Karate. Gregs wide knowledge of traditional karate plus competitions has brought him many successes in both Kumite and Kata winning British full contact championships in 1977, Tera National Kata championships in 1978, 1979,1980 including 3rd place in Kata English National championships 1984. British open kumite champion in 1981 and 1983 any many other titles throughout his career. Greg is secretary to the English Karate Governing Body Secretary for the past 8 Years. Shihan Greg Wallace was inducted into The World Hall of Fame United States of America 1994. Greg is also a English Karate Governing Body Referee, and former member of the Technical Committee for the EKGB. Former Head of delegation to the English Karate Governing Body.
