"¡°What's up? Thanks for reading another installation of my journal! It¡¯s been type crazy actually since my last update so lemme start you off with the midnight night madness. It was a nice event, I just wanted to show the fans off some of the things I can do on the basketball court, and I think I did pretty good, letting them know how good I am. My stat line looked like this... 15pts, 3-4 from 3's, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal. Also my team won the game too, so that was key, wanted to brag a lil. After that, the practices were a rigorous task; it was a lot of running, yelling from the coaches, and all out busting my ass. Practicing everyday (mon-sun) was tough, but Man, coach can yell, haha. Including the fact that I now play some point guard and it¡¯s a challenge when you going up against the backcourt that we have. These two (Chris and Dale) are probably the fastest guard combo in the city, and I have to deal with them every night? Greaaat. So after 2 weeks of torture, we played against Burlington CC, I came off the bench to drop 8pts off the bat in the first half, and finished with 14pts. Next game was the Homecoming game. It was the Men¡¯s team vs. the alumni. It was a good crowd again, and I wanted to show what I could do, and I delivered (http://www.poly.edu/athletics/newsletter/11_15_03c.cfm, click or copy n paste this link to read about it). After that was several more weeks of brutal practices then we opened the season against Alfred, beating them by 2, thanks Abou (hits the game winner with .8 seconds left), then we played NYU for the championship game. Although we lost, I lead the team in scoring and was the only one to hit double digits in that game. Other games we played, lost to NYC tech and lost to NYU again to start off the season at 1-3, but I¡¯m not really worried. The tough part of the schedule is gone, and now its time to start a run. Hopefully we can.¡±

“Hey guys what's up? It's been a long september and its going to be an even longer october! September was okay, been working out here and there, played in the Hoop-it-up tournament and we did okay, my teammates (Akere, Mike, and Steve) played really well through the course of the tourny but we lost in the semifinals. When that lost happened, I felt like there's a black cloud just following me everywhere I go, after junior high, the playoffs have been nothing more than disappointments. I just cant get out the playoffs without a championship! As for Poly, We been doing captain workouts which was tough, a lot of running and getting prepared for what lies ahead. We even ran the brooklyn bridge a couple of times, yea serious stuff. In october, we took our team pictures with was cool, seeing the guys and chilling. Then oct 15, thats when the brutal exhibition of running began. I'm still sore from it. Practices official was Oct 15 and it was tough. But of course It will get us stronger. Well, I'm about to head to class, Thanks for reading and the next journal update with be in a few weeks, as I will continue to tell you the latest developments and talk about the midnight madness too! See ya Soon!!"

“What’s good, thanks for taking the time to read my monthly journal, it’s been a long summer for me, I been doing nothing but working on my game and trying to get stronger as well as build up my endurance. All I kept thinking about is the disappointing end to my Rockland career, and I wanted to work hard this summer so it will not repeat, but first I had to take care of a little nagging injury that was bothering me the whole season, which was later diagnose as a “torn cartilage.?I later received surgery and missed a couple of weeks. Nevertheless, I always keep a positive attitude about situations such as this, because I know, I’ll be rewarded in the near future.
After letting my leg heal, I was like a warrior going to the gym about 5 times a week, lifting weights, playing ball for hours, running the track, and then when it was all said and done, hit the hot tub, and mellow out! I pretty much sacrificed my whole summer on basketball, I never done anything like that before. I just want to go into Poly and be a hit from the get go. I’ve been working out with a few guys as well, former teammate in Akere and also Mike, who’s getting ready to play for Middlesex CC. I think we all are ready to contribute to our respective colleges this upcoming season. I also played in summer league, and I’ve been killing dropping 20pts or more in several key games. The last game I dropped 25pts, including 6 three pointers. I think my jumpshot had improved. Well that’s it for now, thanks for reading along and hope you will be back here next month when I talk about Poly practices and also Hoop-it-up tourney!?lt;/i>
