Tony Hawk To Appear At San Diego Hall Of Champions October 18, 2000
Tony Hawk will be on hand at San Diego's Hall Of Champions sports museum to help open an exhibit dedicated to his career. On Friday, November 10 he will be signing copies of his autobiography, Hawk: Occupation Skateboarder. The exhibit, Bird Wathing—Tony Hawk In Flight, will feature photographs of Hawk taken by J. Grant Brittain and Thom Vollenweider, plus artifacts from Hawk's career, and a video presentation comprised of footage from the ESPN Tony Hawk's Gigantic Skatepark Tour series. The Exhibit will run from November 10 through February 9. The San Diego Hall Of Champions is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and is located in the historic Federal Building in Balboa Park at 2131 Pan American Plaza, San Diego, California 92101.
