Words can not fully describe the impact you and your members had in making the Point Douglas Residents Committee Arm Wrestling event a HUGE SUCCESS! Front page of the Free Press, a great article in the Sun and $4500 raised proves what you and a little strong arming can do!
I was so impressed with your member’s willingness to come out and participate. The assist we where given from people like Gilles who delivered the kids and youth tables as well as all the people who helped educate me when I showed up in Selkirk. You and your members run a first class organization.
I do want to investigate the possibility of setting up a club in the North End and Point Douglas and this sport is something the kids of this area can get into and hopefully we can develop a program and provide you with some new members.
I know some first timers are already considering joining in some events like the Masters, so you can see what effect you had on use.
If there is ever anything we can do to help you out, just drop me a lin and you and your organization have my deepest gratitude.
