Manitoba Provincial Championships / Portage Pull for Kids
Due to the flooding situation in Manitoba the Provincial Championships were postponed to the date listed below. This event now combines 2 great events... the Provincials and the Portage Pull for Kids. We will offer all of the usual classes for the Provincial Championship plus we will still give away all of the proceeds to the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.
FRIDAY AUGUST 5:
Registrations adult classed 6pm-7pm at host hotel (Canad Inn Portage).
SATURDAY AUGUST 6:
PROVINCIAL YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS:
Registration from 10am-11:30am
Youth event begins at 12pm
$5 per class for youth.
PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Registrations from 10am - 1:30pm
Championships begin at 2pm
$25 per class.
AFTER PARTY TO BE HELD IN THE TAVERN 8pm - ???
Weight Classes:
Youth Right & Left: 5 classes to be determined based on entries.
Men Right & Left: 0-154, 155-176, 177-198, 199-242, 243 & Over
Women Right & Left: 0-154, 155 & Over
Men Masters (40 & over) Right & Left: 0-176, 177-198, 199 & over
Awards for 1st through 3rd in all classes.
Match of the day award, most sportsmanlike award.
6th Annual Team event: Register your team of 5 (free) for a chance at the annual team trophy. Points awarded based on individual placing. There must be 1 female per team. Only points from the open event will count (no points for Masters classes).
