Some Notes About My Work

• All peices are my original work....Any resemblance to other stuff is PURELY coincidental.
• I cut, air dry,and use all my own wood from my own land.
• Wild Cherry is my favorite, followed White and Red Oak...I have done birch, but find it visually unapealling personally.
• Buying my furniture will help feed my large family
• I do custom orders
• I've been making doll furniture for nearly 2 years and use mostly hand tools.
• I can stain the peices,or leave them unfinished(so you can do it yourself, or not).
• I'm trying to move up from the hobbyist level to fulltime time craftsman status.

I use Red and White Oak,Wild Cherry,and White birch(although i personally dont like the birch). The joints i use are mostly mortise and tenon,or some variation, such as fox wedged,blind,through,and pinned mortise and tenon. I use only the most basic of tools, such as the old standby, the drawknife,an assortment of handsaws,and my trusty old timey springpole lathe(when needed). I dont have employees,other than my wife who sews for me when needed. I also make a variety of sizes, all the way from micro doll furniture, to kids stuff, to stuff that wont fit in your house(for outdoors).
