Central part of the galaxy, NGC 253, in Sculptor.  Viewed nearly edge-on, this large spiral galaxy is a member of the Sculptor group and is just 8 mln light years away.

Processing:  Acquired in Astrovideo as FITS.  Stacked in Iris.  Initially RGB, but converted to grayscale.
