SATURN

Saturn, the 9th planet from the sun, is the least dense of all the planets. Saturn is known as the god of agriculture in Roman mythology. The associated Greek god, Cronus, was the son of Uranus and Gaia and the father of Zeus, or Jupiter. Saturn is the root of the English word "Saturday". Saturn has been known since prehistoric times, but few know that deep past its thick atmosphere and hot liquid fluids lives a race of aliens named 'GWEEBO'!

GWEEBO & Saturn

On the core of the planet is a icy rock upon which these alien's inhabit. These aliens do not live outside of the core because the atmospheric temperatures are 134K. Their skin is thick and helps keep their fragile bodies warm and protects them from harm. The Gweebo also build their homes of ice and snow and make a 'igloo-like' homes which insulate heat and keep anything side at warmer temperatures. The Gweebo is an amazing species and have evolved to live off the land and survive the cold temperatures of the Saturn core.

The gravity on the planet is lesser then Earths, only about 0.7 compared to Earth (which is 1). The planet's diameter is 120,356 km.

GWEEBO Biology 101

Most Gweebo average at about a height of 5'0". All of them have the similar rounded body and legs.

The gasses from the atmosphere (which are made up of 75% Hydrogen and 25% helium with traces of water, methane, and ammonia) leak into the core area of the planet. The Gweebo survive by inahling these a these gasses and filtering them. The Hydrogen is used for supplying energy to it's body and the Helium keeps his air sac's inflated that support his body like bones. This process also feeds the Gweebo the necessary nutrients that fill the air.

Gweebo's eyes are adapted to be above his head so that when walking through deep snow he can still easily see.

Saturn & Rings

Saturn has many concentric rings. These rings have amazed Astronomers of the Past and Present. Many rings have been found and there are possibly more to discover. In 1659, for example, Christiaan Huygens correctly inferred teh geometry of the rings. More rings were found to dates up to 1977.

Saturn's Moons

Saturn has atleast 30 moons. The most significant is Titan. None of the moons are inhabited by the Gweebo.
