Submission Guidelines

There are several requirements for those who wish to submit a fanfiction to Get Inside the Mind! to keep in mind. Accepted are both one-shot fanfiction and multi-chapter fanfiction, but please specify which your is when you send it in. The "rules" are basically as follows:

1. The subject line of the submission e-mail should be "Gim Fanfiction Submission" (I coded it that way). If this does not happen for whatever reason, please fill in the subject line accordingly.
2. The submission itself must be in a format which AppleWorks (on a Mac) can understand; otherwise, it won't be accessible!
3. The submitted fanfiction must be legible - that means the author will have edited the piece(s), used as correct grammar, spelling, and other literary rules as possible; the spacing is neat, and overall it is presentable. This also applies if the fanfiction is hosted elsewhere, and the link is submitted.
4. The fanfiction should preferably be titled. Too many authors want to post pieces without one, and it just doesn't work! Though note, help will be given to those who ask.
5. In order to post a fanfiction, Gim will need your penname and a summary of the story. Again, those who seek help (with writing a summary or choosing a penname) will receive it.
6. (For multi-chapter fanfiction:) The author should preferably be intending to finish the piece! I don't think anyone favors finding a good read and then being left hanging.

If anything's missing, it shall be added when its absence is noted. Gim asks that you do try to follow this outline for the sake of the readers if not for your own satisfaction; and remember, any fanfiction can be re-submitted as many times as needed once having undergone proper editing, so there's always another chance!
