Preview of Changi Airport's Terminal 3
Photography by Phillip Tan, Singapore

Webpage created on the humble Notepad.

Hi there! This is Phill. I can only hope that these humble pictures will give you a feel of how grand and beautiful the new Terminal 3 is. Personally, I'm awe-struck by the design and look of the place. As you stand there under the impressive Green Wall, only one word will go through your head: "Wow...."

So, I hope you enjoy the pictures. (", )

On arrival at the carpark, I'm already blown away by how big it is. This is shot from the middle of the carpark.

At the Basement 1 level, there are what seemed like shops/offices. And palms like these...

These skylights provide the natural sunlight that these plants need.

One floor up at the arrival hall, it looks almost like the one in T2.

And this is the taxi stand, looking up towards the Departure Hall.

The grand Departure Hall. You can almost get agoraphobic in here.

A very clever design to "camouflage" the air-conditioning vents (those "eye" looking things).
To have these vents close to the ground where it's needed (instead of up in the ceiling) will help save energy.

From the Departure Hall, you can look down into the baggage carousel of the Arrival Hall. A very nice feature.

An overview of the Departure Hall from Level 3.

And now we going to proceed into the Passengers Only access areas.
The round thing looks like the USS Enterprise. "Beam me up, Scotty!"

There are a lot of shops in here! Will have to remind myself to check in 3 hours ahead the next time I fly!

And then there's the free Internet service...

The FITVs (Flight Information TVs) seems to be bigger. Notice the beautiful Phals sitting below.

This almost-completed rest area appears to have a small shop...

The holding area for boarding passengers is now combined into a huge one. This one is for Gates B1 to B4.

Arriving passengers will see this beautiful cycad and orchid display when they head towards the Immigration counters.

The Immigration counters. Prepare to be amazed on the next page...
