I want to join ShiKahr:

Thank you for your interest. I assume you have looked at the game manual already; if you have not done that yet, please do so now. ShiKahr: The Emerald City is a Vulcan-oriented game. While Vulcans of virtually any clan, house, or background are welcome to join the group, the membership is (currently) closed to the outsiders. There are, of course, exceptions: Individuals who have excelled in learning the principles of c'thia (more commonly known as logic) and applying them to their thoughts and behavior on the daily basis may be considered for acceptance. Remember, that ShiKahr: The Emerald City is a game that concentrates on character development rather than mission accomplishments. Please be prepared for lack of warfare and heroism. But what else is there to Star Trek?. There is a lot, actually. Please check out our mailing list, if you haven't alreadyn done so, and see for yourself. I would like to offer your SIM a joint mission:

ShiKahr: The Emerald City is a member of Alpha Quadrant SIM Group, and thus can only participate in Joint Missions with other roleplaying groups within AQSG. If you would like to have a Joint Mission with us, please understand several things: 1. ShiKahr is a mature SIM. Some of the things we post may be inappropriate for minors. 2. ShiKahr is a Vulcan SIM. If your group has a lot of players who pay little to no attention to their character development, the Joint Mission shall only hurt ShiKahr. 3. ShiKahr is a SIM that has a number of fan fiction writers among its ranks. If your group only posts one-paragraph posts, this is not an acceptable companionship. 4. ShiKahr is a civilian SIM. We can not participate in missions with a lot of fighting, or in missions that typical Vulcans would shy away from. 5. ShiKahr is a fast-paced SIM. If your group posts 2 long posts a week or fewer, the Joint Mission shall only hurt ShiKahr. If you are still interested, please proceed to the Joint Mission Application page.

Provided it's not something that our other pages could have answered (e.g., the Credits page for copyright info), I'll gladly answer any question that you may have for me regarding the content present on this website.

I have a site design question:

ShiKahr: The Emerald City features a somewhat basic, blocky design, however it does it what it is supposed to go - it does not hinder (or does it?) visitors from getting the information that they may want. While I appreciate any and all offers of website assistance, I tend to decline them; if I like a particular idea, I search the web until I am able to implement it on my own. However, I am unwilling to relinguish the website controls to someone else. If you have a suggestion on how to improve the ShiKahr's site, or you have another site design-related question, let me know.
