LEDA Strategy

LEDA expects to stimulate the leading edge of creativity and technology in the 21st Century.  Our strategy will be to focus on developing lunar resources and other infrastructure required to sustain commercial activities on the Moon. We will support an interlinked network of high-tech businesses and universities, forming partnerships of advanced science and technology.  Many new business opportunities will result from this process, extending well beyond the conventional aerospace industry.

The LEDA Industrial Development Fund will be the principal means of cementing these relationships. We will draw upon lunar development and industrial experts from around the world to serve as technical advisors in order to insure the highest level of professionalism in the projects we fund. Through our relationship with United Societies in Space (our parent organization) and the World Space Bar Association, we are working toward an equitable legal structure for mineral leasing, property development and other commercial activities on the Moon.
