Travis Outlaw
Height: 6-8
Weight: 195
Position: SF
High School: Starkville HS (Starkville, MS)
Info: Many analysts believe that he's one of the best athletes in this class. He's a great leaper/dunker with good shot blocking ability. He is considered one of the best prospects in the class. After his ABCD performance, he still left coaches, scouts, and analysts looking for a jumpshot. Most believe he will hone his shooting ability before college.
College choice: Has verballed to Mississippi St. During his press conference, he stated that Memphis was a close 2nd. He also considered Alabama, Louisville, LSU, and Kentucky. He was spotted several times at Memphis games and reportedly has family in the Memphis-area
Where most analysts place him: Top 15
Dane Bradshaw
Height: 6-3
Weight: 205
Position: PG
High School: White Station HS (Memphis, TN)
Info: There are several things that people love about Dane. He's a big, bulky guard who sets his teammates up well. He'll definitely going be a vocal leader at UT. He's a good all-around guard... could be one of the biggest sleepers in the class.
College choice: Has verballed to Tennessee. Vanderbilt and Memphis were also on his list of schools, but Memphis did not offer. Clemson, Houston, and Stanford also expressed interest in him. I am unaware of how much interest Coach Calipari & Co. had in Dane.

James Lang
Height: 6-10
Weight: 300
Position: C

Where most analysts place him: Top 20

Position: PG
High School: East Boston HS (Boston, MA)
Info: Runs a team well... good on-court leadership... gets after it on the defensive end. Averaged 23 ppg 7 apg during his junior season.
College choice: Final three are UConn, Georgetown, and Memphis. Right now, the Tigers are leading. Blaylock followed the team during their NIT championship run and really liked their style of play. He wants to attend a school that likes to run the ball. As far as I know, none of the three schools mentioned have offered.
Where most analysts place him: Top 75
Nick Stafford
Height: 6-8
Weight: 190
Position: PF
High School: Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA)
Info: Athletic, well-built forward who has great hops. May be one of the best athletes in the class.

Steve Hailey
Height: 6-0

College choice: He has drawn the interest of Memphis, Rutgers, Drexel, Hartford, Hofstra, Long Island, Rider, St. Francis NY, and St. Peter's. Look for more major D-1 schools to get involved after a great performance at ABCD. *UPDATE* (7/14) He has probably improved his stock more than any other player. *UPDATE* (7/15) His new list includes Memphis, Seton Hall, Drexel, Iowa State, East Carolina, Rutgers, and Northeastern. Memphis is the only school on his list that hasn't been calling... they've just been sending mail (Brian Towey). I expect that to change after his All-Star selection performance at ABCD.
Where most analysts place him: Not in top 100 (May be top 50 after summer)
Sean Banks
Height: 6-7
Weight: 200
Position: SF
High School: Bergen Catholic HS (Oradell, NJ)
Info: Has great scoring ability... can hit the jumper from inside and out. Used to be a PG, but had a growth spurt... so he has a good handle and is a great passer. Good athlete who had a great junior season. Raised his stock at ABCD camp... was considered a top 10 player there.
College choice: He has received offers from Pitt, Maryland, Memphis, North Carolina St., UConn, Rutgers, Seton Hall, and West Virginia. Where most analysts place him: Not in top 100
Kendrick Perkins
Height: 6-10
Weight: 260
Position: C
High School: Ozen HS (Beaumont, TX)
Info: One of the best players in the class of 2003. Outstanding inside player who could jump to the NBA. Good athlete with a bright future. Has a 2.7 GPA. Disappointing showing at ABCD, but was still good enough to be considered a top 15 player there.
College choice: He will decide on the college he may attend in August. He will choose from Alabama, Texas, North Carolina, Miami, and Michigan. Then, in May, he will decide if he will attend college or declare for the draft. Memphis has extended an offer, but it looks like the big man has lost interest in the Tigers. Remember, he was one of the attendees at Calipari's camp. I would hope he didn't come all the way to Memphis just for a tour of the city...

High School: New Britain HS (New Britain, CT)

Where most analysts place him: Top 100
Ronnie Brewer
Height: 6-5
Weight: 190
Position: SG
High School: Fayetteville HS (Fayetteville, AR)

He has received offers from California, Tulane, Houston, LSU, Miami, and Oklahoma (Mike Sullivan). Memphis has shown interest, but I am not sure if they are still recruiting him or how much interest they have in him if they are. Hopefully, I can find an update on him soon.
Where most analysts place him: Top 50
Ricky Lucas
Height: 6-4
Weight: 195
Position: SG/SF

College choice: Tennessee, Kent State, George Washington, Rutgers, and Penn State are the colleges currently recruiting him (Brian Lowery). "I plan on taking a trip to Rutgers at the end of this camp (ABCD). I might also visit George Washington." - Ricky Lucas... He was receiving interest from Memphis, but I'm not sure if Coach Calipari & Co. are still recruiting him. I'll let you know if I see Memphis show up on his future lists. He's fully qualified which will make him an even more attractive recruit.

Darius Washington

Memphis wants him badly, and Darius has interest in the Tigers. *UPDATE* (7/14) Emerged as the best PG in the class of 2004 after the ABCD camp... possibly the best player in the class. Also, he could be the best PG regardless of class. It seems that Mustafa Shakur (c/o 2003) may have him in that area though.
College choice: *UPDATE* (7/15) Memphis is on his early list which includes four other schools. Also, Coach Calipari and Barbee have been at ALL of Washington's games at the Nike Peach Jam so far.
Where most analysts place him: Top 5
Andre Allen
Height: 5-8
Position: PG
High School: Booker T. Washington HS (Memphis, TN)
Info: Considered one of the best prospects in Tennessee. Plays with a huge amount of heart... great passer... consistent from behind the arc... sees the floor well... a vocal leader. Although he hasn't given out a list yet... he's stated Memphis is his dream school and looks to be headed there. His idol is Memphis PG Antonio Burks. *UPDATE* (7/14) Considered one of the top 10 PG's (top 5 PG among underclassmen) at the Nike Camp. He reportedly gave top 25 class of 2003 prospect Taurean Minor (Cincy lean) all he could handle. He won't get the recognition he deserves due to his size.
Where most analysts place him: Top 50
Shawne Williams
Height: 6-7
Position: SF
High School: Hamilton HS (Memphis, TN)
Info: Considered one of the best prospects in the state of Tennessee. The Tigers and he definitely share a mutual interest. *UPDATE* (7/14) Considered one of the top 8 SF's (one of top 3 SF's among underclassmen) at the Nike Camp. Could emerge as a top 25 prospect with another performance like this.
Where most analysts place him: Top 50

Position: PF
High School: East HS (Memphis, TN)
Info: Another member of the "Big Three" in Memphis. Put on a heck of a show at the Nike Camp. In one report, he was considered the #41 player in the entire camp. The majority of the players above him were seniors to be. Also, he has improved his stock thus far at Peach Jam, too.
Where most analysts place him: Top 100 (should be top 50 after summer).
