are full of wise men's words, of ancient people's examples, of law
and religion ways.
I love reading..always
have and always will...so much that I often read more than one book at the
I'm pretty much a bookworm who will devour anything, but I do have my preferences of course! Novels, in particular, both modern and older literature, but also theatre plays and some poetry...
Here are some of my favourite writers...Check them out!
Carina Burman: she comes first because she is the author I wrote my university thesis about, because I have met her twice and because her books make me think, but can also make me both cry and laugh!
Thomas Mann :I loved "Tonio Kröger" - I even know passages from it by heart!
Virginia Woolf: "Have you any notion how many books are written about women in the course of one year? Have you any notion how many are written by men? Are you aware that you are, perhaps, the most discussed animal in the universe?"
E.M.Forster:"Most of life is so dull that there is nothing to be said about it and the books and talk that would describe it as interesting are obliged to exaggerate, in the hope of justifying their own existence."
Tolkien:"All that is gold does not glitter; not all those that wander
are lost." - obvious, isn't it?! ;o)
Karen Blixen:Beautiful, deep tales - my absolutely fave short stories!
Jostein Gaarder: deep and yet exciting, philosophy like you would have never expected it!
Rice:from the Vampire Chronicles, to the Mayfair Witches saga, to The
Feast of alla Saints...But does she really need a presentation?
Stephen King:so much better than I would have ever guessed! "The devil's voice is sweet to hear. "...
Amelie Nothomb: so witty, so eveil in my own way!
J.K.Rowling: Harry Potter's mom! :o)
There would be a LOT more, but finding the right links (especially for non-English authors) is hard and time consuming...So I'm afraid you will have to wait...
