The Holy Spirit is the Father's Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God.

The angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy child shall be called the son of God. (Luke 1:35).

Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus was also baptized, and while he was praying, heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven, "You are My beloved son, in you I am well-pleased. (Luke 3:21-22).

After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on him and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is My beloved son, in whom I am well-pleased." (Matthew 3:16-17).

[YAHWEH}: Behold, my servant-son whom I have chosen, my beloved in whom my soul is well-pleased. I will put My Spirit upon him and he shall proclaim righteousenss to the nations. (Matthew 12:18; see Isaiah 42:1).

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him? (Luke 11:13).

When they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say." (Luke 12:11-12).

But when they hand you over, do not worry about how or what you are to say; for it will be given you in that hour what you are to say. For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you. (Matthew 10:19-20).

And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high." (Luke 24:49).

Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear.... Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 "For the promise is for you. (Acts 2:33-39).

And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him." (Acts 5:32).

The Power of God

The Holy Spirit is the divine energizing power of God and as opposed to the human weakness of the flesh of man.

The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. (Luke 1:35).

Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit. (Luke 4:14).

You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. (Acts 10:38; see Luke 4:18; 3:22).

Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man from God attested to you with miracles and wonders and signs which God did through him in your midst. (Acts 2:22).

For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits and they come out. (Luke 4:36).

But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you. (Matthew 12:28).

But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you. (Luke 11:20).

I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on High. (Luke 24:47; see Acts 2:33; 38-39).

You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. (Acts 1:8).

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13).

For I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me, resulting in the obedience of the Gentiles by word and deed, in power of signs and wonders, in power of the Spirit. (Romans 15:19).

My message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and power. (1 Corinthians 2:4).

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man.... Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. (Ephesians 3:16; see Col 1:29).

For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit. (1 Thessalonians 1:5).

Flesh

Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 16:17).

The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. (Matthew 27:41).

All flesh will see the salvation of God. (Luke 3:6).

Born, not of blood nor of the will of the will of the flesh but of God. (John 1:13).

The Spirit gives life; the flesh profits nothing. (John 6:63).

The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind of the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so. (Romans 8:6-7).

But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its desires. (Romans 13:14).

I did not immediately consult with flesh and blood. (Galatians 1:16).

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. For the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please.... Now the works of the flesh are evident.... those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. (Galatians 5:17-24).

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood. (Ephesians 6:12).

The Bible also contrasts with being "in the Spirit" with being "in the flesh." In this sense, the Bible is not contrasting being "in" the person of the Holy Spirit to being "in" the nature of flesh but contrasting being in the nature of God who is Spirit with being in the nature of man who is flesh

God is spirit.

The Word became flesh.

The Breath of God

The Holy Spirit is the breath of God. The Spirit gives the body of Christ on earth the power of life. Just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also the body of Christ, the church, without the Spirit is dead.
