Vague or ambiguous definitions used in a doctrine can ultimately make it a meaningless teaching. The main terms used in Trinitarian doctrine are so vague and ambiguous that one can twist and contort these definitions into just about anything. In fact, Trinitarians prefer to leave the main terms used in their doctrine as essentially undefined. In effect, this makes their doctrine completely meaningless.
When also wants to be a liar, it is also useful to have such definitions as handy escape hatches to affirm something on one day and deny it on another. The following is a list of these significant terms without any real meaning in Trinitarian doctrine.
