Welcome to Straight Line Racing we are a San Francisco bay area based team.  Straight Line Racing (SLR) was founded in November 2001.  We started as a group of friends who enjoyed wrenching on cars and racing.  From there we started attending street races.  We still attend races and often attend Wednesday night drags at Infineon Raceway (aka Sears Point) and are now privileged enough to be sponsored by Bob Anderson Motorsports. 

Current Events

Well.  It is nearing the end of the first year of college.  All of us are extremely busy so there wont be anything really happening till June.  Then everyone will be home so there should be lots of stuff happening.  Keep checking for updates and don't get pulled over.  Oh yeah, one last thing, we will be changing the look of the site.  The new design is awesome so you will all have something to look forward too.  Peace out.

Past Events

2/17/03 - Had bracket drags.  I had an awesome day and beet a brand new Mustang Cobra with a new fastest time, 14.036@104.78mph.

1/26/03 - Tampa Bay kicked Oakland's ass.  Yes!!!  Raider nation can get on their knees and suck it.

1/20/03 - Sears Point was open.  Not to many people went a lot of interesting things happened like Sean's car got rear-ended.  All in all it was a bad day, the temp was 45 degrees and it was 100% humidity.  Traction was horrible but we did have fun.  Someone blew a motor and dumped synthetic all over the track so they closed early for the day.

1/18/03 - There is a car show going on at the San Mateo Expo center.  I think some people are heading down there however I will be going skiing.  Get in touch with Sean if you wanna go because I believe that he is going.

1/14/02 - Sean's header came in and we installed it today.  Looks good and should increase performance considering when his old one was removed we found that the old pipe had been pushed in and was probably greatly restricting flow. 

1/8/03 - Apparently Joe is saying that his Porsche 944 is supposed to be running by today (I think he has been smokin the sweet cheeba again).  Either that or he is having some hallucinations and I want some of whatever he is on.  And of course its still not fixed.

1/2/03 - Picked up a Skunk 2 Megaphone cat back system for Sean's Integra and installed it.  Now it has the nice ricy tone to it.  Also ordered a DC Sports Ceramic coated 4-2-1 header which wasn't in stock so should be seeing that in a week or two.

1/1/03 - Racing went well for most of us, everyone had fun and improved their times and MPH.  (With the exception of Matt Ruble).  He got rear ended in the staging lanes and ended up having to go home to deal with his father who was not pleased with the situation.

12/31/02 - As of today our team is officially sponsored.  Bob Anderson Motorsports agreed to sponsor our team as long as everyone throws one of his stickers on their car.  They are small and look cool so it shouldn't be a problem.  He also told me that if I give him a copy of our logo he will have a huge ass banner made for us.  So if any of you guys need parts contact me and I will get you a deal from him.  I will pick up the stickers from him on Thursday (1/2/03) so after that date see me for stickers is you don't have one.  

12/30/02 - Mike got started on making our stickers.  I emailed him the logo and told him what he wanted and he is trying to get them made.  I will keep all you guys posted on the status as I find out.  If mike doesn't come through would you guys be willing to fork out a little money to get stickers made?

12/29/02 - A lot of the guys from our team showed up at Starbucks in Daly City to meet with Team Red Sunz.  Everything went cool and they asked us to join in an alliance,  I want your guys input.  Please click and submit what you think above.  After Starbucks we went and participated in some extra curricular activities and I would like to have it known that our team had the fastest car there.
