Our Mission

SLAMM strives to reduce the use of tobacco products.

According to the minutes of a 1968 U.S. Tobacco meeting, company Vice President L.F. Bantle was quoted as saying, "We must sell the use of tobacco in the mouth and appeal to young people."

  WHO WE ARE...

Starting with a group of affectionate teens, SLAAM was founded in March of 2001. As
a community board, we are set on tobacco prevention through widespread education.
