Interesting Facts About Ferrets:

They weigh one to six pounds.
Adults are thirteen to sixteen inches long.
Originally, they were used to eliminate rodents. Now, they make a good pet.
They usually live six to eight years, but can live longer.
The European Polecat is thought to be an ancestor of the ferret.
They sleep up to twenty hours per day.
Ferrets can fit their body through anything that their head can fit through. This is because they are   extremely flexible.
