Hey, Circe -
Just waiting for Melissa to get off the phone so I can call you. It's after midnight here, so my weekend is gone. Sorry I haven't called more lately. I hope you're available tonight. I didn't check my normal email until a few seconds ago, when I got your message.
Just decided that I liked the Ford Mustange '99. We went to Harrisburg today for their youth group thing, and one of the girls from there had one. I wouldn't get out of that thing, I loved it, with the wind swishing in my face. Michelle was having fun with it too, and Trevor (the girl's brother) was thinking we're all weird or something. See, he's got rich-ish parents so they can afford serious cars like that, and to me it's a pretty big deal to be in a car that nice. It was yellow, so not the best color, but at least it wasn't red. A whole bunch of us went to her house after that. I met these guys, Aaron and Chris, the day before, and they were cool, and we all watched a really stupid movie about motorcycles. So I actually got out of the house today, and didn't even get home until about 9pm.
Meanwhile, I'm teaching my brother Josh to JavaScript. It's hard for me to be patient. I really don't have a genuine teacher's passion, because I have a hard time waiting on people to catch what I consider relatively simple concepts. But he's all right at it. I put him to variables, input, output, mathematical expressions, and functions on the first day. I also quizzed him about sequential execution and parameters. Since he can practice on the house computer, that'll make it closer to home and will motivate him, since he can continue working on it even after I head back to Hilo.
Actually, I'm going to be trying to call you tonight, so I'll save the rest of my chit chat til then (I'll try and be mosquito proof, if I can, so we'll not be rushed too badly). If I dont' get ahold of you, I might just come back here and write more.
Thinking of you. In love, Beck
