Welcome to the Suicide Squad PBEM page! The page has been rectified more out of casual desire than need, but we still hope to make a good game out of it.
Obviously, I'm not a know-all Game Master, or anything like that. However, I am an excellent writer, and thus like to participate in the odd Free-Form game now and then. Well, since The Suicide Squad is one of my favorite 
comic books (hail Ostrander!) I figured a good PBEM might be in order for those of us that like to take on the characters so famously revered in the series.
That aside, I'd like to carry on from the point that another colleague of mine left off. Turmoil created an excellent site, which first inspired me to make this one. I've borrowed a few of his layouts for this site, but know that he made one before me.
Finally, this PBEM also hosts a message board where members and guests alike are welcome to peruse the categories and see if there's anything that interests them. Most of the game will be controlled from this message board, so it is imperative that anyone who wishes to be a member of the PBEM join there as well.
That send and done, the Suicide Squad is now recruiting! We're looking for six (6) to ten (10) players for the first assignment. As with any game, there are rules for game play as well as Character Application (you didn't think any Joe off the street could just jump in, did you?) Most importantly, you must have background knowledge of the character you choose to be. There are lots of Suicide Squad fans out there, and it would be a real shame to read about a favorite character who is really - well... out of character. So, know the background, know their nuances, know their peeves and fetishes. This is a role-playing game, so make sure you're playing like you're really that character.
