Sample XLStest Output NOTES: Results from some files were deleted to avoid exposure of their file names. Use a hex viewer of your .xls files to see that trash is inserted most often right in the middle of a data record of your spreadsheet. The "trash" is actually sectors of the OLE file FAT. The reversed data further destroys the integrity of your data. The BOF record may appear at H1000 followed by 4096 bytes which then are followed if the order were correct by 2048 bytes of data at H800. The issue of honesty and integrity is at the center of this matter.
