GT300 Spec

On the 24/01/04 While pushing the car down a straight in second gear I hear a ping noise as it bounces off the rev limit. I let off and the ping turns into a rattle that then becomes a banging noise. Realising something was wrong I took the car straight home. I had a mechanic look over the car and he told me that I had blown the engine and that it was only firing on three cylinders. He thought I had probably bent a valve.

I had to make a decision what to do next. I always wanted a faster car and I thought now would be the ideal opportunity to do an engine conversion. I decided on the 2zz-ge as used in the Celica 190 as several people on www.spyderchat.com in the US had already done this.
