Board Rules
I. Be polite to other members. We’re all here to have fun. If you don’t agree with someone, respect their right to have their own opinion.
II. This guild does not, under any circumstances, tolerate scammers or hackers. Any posts including scams will be dealt with severely. Advertising scams in your user lookup or shop will also be acted upon.
III. Do not advertise other guilds. You will be immediately blocked if you do.
IV. No begging. Please do not ask ANY members for nps, items, etc. Everyone works hard for their achievements, if they can do it, so can you! Our Strategy Guide is second to none at helping you to earn lots of nps every day, and our Hacker’s Challenge item even shows you how other members have made a lot of nps quickly.
V. No spamming!
a) Do not repeat a message several times.
b) Don’t try to increase your message totals by posting (e.g.) “5 posts to 1000 messages”, “4 posts to 1000 messages” etc. NO-ONE wants to read that.
c) Say “hello” by all means, but if no-one answers you, do not keep posting asking if anyone is there, saying you’re bored, or ‘talking to yourself’. Posting tips or asking questions is strongly encouraged, and please do any time, but rambling on isn’t.
d) If you post a question or comment, and aren’t replied to immediately, bear in mind that other people could be doing any number of things as well as posting on the board, and DO NOT keep repeating your question. If you don’t get an answer to a question on the board, mail our Question Master who will be delighted to help you.
VI. Don’t make a long list of exclamation points, question marks or other symbols in either your post title or the post itself. It makes the board looked unkempt and sloppy, and makes it harder for members who’re new to guilds to post messages.
VII. Refrain from advertising your shop/trades/beauty contest entrant/etc. more than once a day.
VIII Don't type in all capitals (LIKE THIS) unless you're really mad or just missed a rare item in a shop, it means you're shouting. Also, DoN't TyPe LiKe ThIs, you will have much more respect if you type normally and you don't post as often doing that.
IX. Remember this is a PG site, so keep your language and topics to standards Neopets will find acceptable. You will endanger your own account and the guild by breaking Neopets rules. We strongly encourage you to read the Neopets ‘terms and conditions’ (at the bottom of every page on the Neopets site), so you know what’s acceptable and what isn’t.
NOTES
i) Discussion about how many nps you have is STRONGLY discouraged. Some scammers join guilds purely to target people who are naïve enough to talk about how rich they are.
ii) Buying and selling pets is against 'neopets rules'. We do not condone this, and do not want to see it being discussed on the guild boards. Apart from anything else, unless you are extremely skilled and have 2 browsers, such trades can and usually do fall through, and you'll be scammed/lose your nps. We suggest adopting/creating pets and using the lab ray/painting them as an alternative. With our Strategy Guide (see web features) making the necessary nps won't be a problem.
These rules are simple and easy to follow, and are designed to make the guild a happier, safer place for all of us. Please don’t break them. Penalties WILL range from a warning, to deletions, suspension and (reluctantly) full blocking.
